Angelina Jolie in leather...
...and a leather uniform at that, was the highlight for me of a great movie... "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow".If you haven't seen it, give it a shot and don't take it too seriously - it's good fun, a bit kitsch and awesome to look at.
Set in the 1930s "Sky Captain" stars Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Giovanni Ribisi and was shot completely against a green screen, so pretty much every scene is computer generated. And what an imagination the writer/director has got, especially to envision Angelina Jolie in leather... good choice that man. Not sure about the eye patch, and could have done with seeing a bit more of her, but hey, we saw Angelina Jolie in leather :)
Anyway, it's a spectacular film with stacks of soft focus, dramtic lighting effects, washed-out tones and the like to give it a really authentic feel. It tips its hat to all sorts of period movies and you can see hints of Wizard of Oz, King Kong, Metropolis, Flash Gordon and Indiana Jones in there.
Not to mention the other great things... giant robots, airships, p40 Tomahawks, RKO-style radio masts, ray guns, authentic radios & analogue dials and, did I mention... Angelina Jolie in leather.

Sorry dear, I'll tell you where I'm goin' next time LOL
That girl's so damn cool - she has spirit, she has that get up and go attitude, and I bet she'd look good wearing just a pair of knee-high leather boots...

In fact I think I'd prefer her if she was just wearing the boots.
