Was Bush Wired?
The cover of Private Eye 1117 made me chuckle... "That TV Debate - Was Bush Wired?" Well, punk, was he? If you can't read it too well, just hover over the image for an enlargement...There's plenty of speculation going round that George Bush was being fed information by an off-stage aide, just check out the story at BBC - "Bush's bulge stirs media rumours"

Did you notice during the debate while Bush was talking he said, "Wait, let me finish" but no one had interrupted him.
It might also explain his extended moments of silence, stuttering and confusion.
Only a fool running for president would need a wire feeding him info. So I guess Bush fits the profile perfectly!

Hey Washington, that certainly was bizarre... I sat up at some stupid hour in the morning watching those debates live and I wasn't sure if I was hallucinating or not. Now I know it was Dubya who was having trouble hearing things, or not... LOL
