Grrr... Enhanced CDs
I just pulled 2x CDs out of the collection to play whilst I'm working. Guess what? They both happen to be enhanced CDs and the PC won't play just the music. Can't find any audio files, tried all my audio software and still no joy. That's all I wanted to hear, music, sweet music.
Instead I get a GUI that takes over 19 inches of screen and a poncey interface to play a video. TWICE !!
That'd be one for a Beatdown - Beatdown CDs with my unenhanced fist.

That pisses me off too, also the CDs that won't play on a PC!.. I have to MP3 em, then they work.. so far!

Hey Brom-man :) - presumably you mp3 'em not on your PC... I don't think I ever heard the last Foo Fighters CD all the way through because the "enhancement" and the "security" killed off my enjoyment of it... another Grrrr
Amerigo, nice to have you onboard. x4 !!! so what's that, a P2P network? I steer well clear of stuff like that since an ex-client donwloaded a load of dodgy software from a P2P network and fried his hard-drive... I'll give you a shout when I suss how to post tunes ;)
Cheers Tescosuicide :) - It seems to happen with the more commercial stuff fom the bigger music corps chucking in all the crap extras for the teenies, whereas raw music has less baggage... That'll learn me ;)

I don't usually have a problem with enhanced cd's, but then, I won't pay over 10dollars for an album. Could explain it.

10 bucks for albums? Now THAT is cheap. If only I could play my MP3s in the car I'd be well happy.
