Hay for Rabbits
OK, I'll explain that in a minute...
Went down to my friend's wedding reception in the New Forest last week. Funny time to have a wedding (on a Thursday in February) but still, it was good fun and I managed to get the Friday off work. Stayed at a decent little New Forest B&B in the village of Burley and used it as a base for the next day's adventures.
Burley is reputed to have an affiliation with witchcraft, but didn't have time to check that out, even though there was a Witch's Shop and all that ;)
Beaulieu Motor Museum was Friday's cool trip. Saw Mr Bean's Mini, the BlueBird, James Bond's submersible Lotus Esprit, FAB1, cars, motorbikes... lovely :D
Also managed a quick dash into the Ringwood Brewery for a case of ale (and an obligatory t-shirt of course)
Ate a decent meal in the Burley Inn washed down with some Wadworth's 6X and Wadworth's Henry's IPA, then hit the Queen's Head for more pints of Abbot Ale and the local Ringwood Forty-Niner :D
Saturday, headed toward Devon to see my dad. Seafront, cold ears, new hat, pub, food, watch football, more pub, more food, good ale (Tanglefoot) and some Weston's "Old Rosie" lurking about.
Sunday was a lazy day with a trip to the farm shop to pick up some local produce and then dash back home through picturesque towns...
...where at the side of the road by a place in Chard was a sign saying
And then I caught my brother's cold.
Nice to be away for a computer screen for so long, BUT I have missed you all X

Thank god your back - I was starting to get worried - thought you had fallen in a barrel of something and couldn't muster up the energy to drag yourself out.
Sound like a cool time was had (apart from the cold) - how did you catch your mum’s cold anyway? Was it an air-born virus? Or... steady, steady...
Good to have you back anyway... umm, I love and miss 6X...

RahX: Cheers dude, it was good; the sun was out but it was cold, and yeah, I've decided that a head full of snot is no good for the thinking man. I feel like my brain's been elsewhere for the last week... and not in a good way LOL ;)
Seffy: Yes, I have a bro, but he's nowhere near as fit as me ;) Mind you, he did get tickets to Ozfest before I did so he's got something going for him...
Don't worry grrrl, I was an only child until the little lump showed up... you might have a theory in the making there about wierd kids... :D
Rebekah: LOL Cheers sweetie, way to go :D Beer and booze shirts are ace. I find normal lifestyle shirts suck somewhat, they tend to be SO shallow... I know someone who should change his surname to O'Neill by deed poll, because that's the only label he EVER wears...
Oh yeah, and guess what A&F REALLY stands for... LOL
And yeah, Hay for Rabbits; Rock On, Bunnie :D
Davinian: Cheers, dude, if I'd fallen into anything inescapable it would have been SNOT... not my favourite tipple...
Hey, you leave my mom outta this, anyway she lives in Bedfordshire ;) It was my little 6'4" bro's cold I caught - he likes to share things.
Oh, the 6X was nothing by comparison to the Abbot Ale or the 49'er - REALLY good they were... only 36 days to go... :D
