Sunny Spells

Great term that: "Sunny spells" - pertaining to moments when the clouds part and ultraviolet rays bathe the world in waves of welcome warmth and light. We had some sun this morning - not much, but maybe enough to "recharge" momentarily.

I stood in the garden, cold with the blast of the wind, yet not caring that I only had a vest and cargo pants on. And I gloried in the sight and feel of sunshine. Must have stood there facing el Sol for a good five minutes - brilliant feeling.

January 24th was supposedly the most depressing day of the year but there's a feeling that the malaise continues...

If anyone actually knows any Sunny Spells cast them over Hampshire would you please?

Windy though. you will never meet anyone who hates wind more than me.

Same thing happened to me the other day, went to uni wearing a top (as the sun was up) and on the way back I got drenched with rain. Good ol' British weather.

PS: Try not to make out too much in your online world ...

Davinian: Gung hay fat choy Big D. Yeah, at last - sunshine, cold but sunshine :D So, that's how the Sunny Spell works - Need to recruit another 100 monkeys to make the sun shine some more ;) BTW - good name for a band, book or movement. NO, not bowel movement.

*note to self - must log in first before hitting PREVIEW on my responses...*Tescosuicide: LOL, yeah, do it man. It's bitterly cold but I hope it starts to warm up soon. May, June, July and August are good times for heading over here and in recent years it's been good weather into September and even October too.

Piniyini: Hope you didn't catch a cold or have to far too go to get changed, dude :)

Weather's the same again today but the wind last night was well dodgy - it nearly ripped my garage door off, re-arranged all the car parts I got sitting on the garage roof and knocked stuff over in the garden. I even walked home in the wind last night - I could hardly stand up it was THAT blowy.
