Nouvelle Cuisine

If my dad and my circumferentially-challenged brother hadn't been there, I'd have had a better chance with the girl from Vancouver...

...she was the Maitre D...

...petite, pretty, a musical west Canadian accent, and with all the right bits to hang on to, she was even nicer than the French waitress...

...but I had to settle for the tart. With Goats Cheese.

And the peppered steak, with a red wine that was so delicious it tasted as much as it cost.

Next time, maybe next time, I'll leave the "grown-outs" at home and offer to trade her bottle for a six-pack ;)

Wow, I figured it meant something round-like but a visit to dictionary.com was in order there. All the right bits...too funny. Top it off with peppered steak, MMM. I'm officially hungry now.

RahX: LOL, yeah, that was me trying to be "politically correct" man :D Did I get away with it? Was that acceptable?

But that steak... oh... prime Scottish rib-eye steak, so much pepper and some good old English mustard - the sort of stuff that makes your eyes water if you have too much in one go :D

I still gotta have buffalo wings and milk over here sometime though...

Hmmm, so you are a sucker for goat cheese and foreign accents (not necessarily in that order), too? I think that I should NOT visit Britian unescorted or I'll swoon at the first local that opens his mouth and never return home....

TMRB: How could we ever ignore you Seffy? :D

Milk's OK with food or drunk quickly. Not the sort of drink I could savour - plus, although it's good for the bones too much milk can be fatty or give you spots. So, as always, everything in moderation :D Gotta be had with Buffalo wings though.

My Blogger T-shirt? How else would I bump into a fellow blogger in the street? If it ever happens you'll all be the first to hear of the story :)

Brom-man: And don't forget the milk.

Failing that, Brom-man, you could always have some Duck ;)

    Or chicken :D

BBFK: LOL, like the scene in "A Fish called Wanda" where John Cleese starts talking to Jamie Lee Curtis in Italian and Russian? Or JLC's pins in the Schwarzenegger movie when she does the exotic dancing...

    *ahem*

    Sorry, got side-tracked there :)

Well let me know where you're gonna swoon and I'll be there to catch you :)
