Lever Incorporated Cleaning Services

I awoke, groggy from conversation late into the night. The haze of red wine clouded my vision; I needed air, to clear my head, squinting in the vivid glare of the morning sunshine.

And there they were; one simply mauled, the other, well... to say decapitated would be an understatement; somebody had fun toying with the head... I had slept like a baby, I don't recall a thing, not a thing...

Under normal circumstances there would be a discrete phonecall, the car would turn up, an old carpet unrolled, and, packed off in the trunk, their disposal in secluded woodland guaranteed... but no, there was no time...

Had anyone seen them lying there, open to the elements? Last night? In this bright daylight? Would there be whispers, rumours, or would everyone be good and just keep their mouths shut? My watchful eye scanned the overlooking windows...

I chose to do it myself and, desensitised to the grizzly sight, took the bodies down to the bottom of the garden. Yeah, that would do... rest in peace and sorry about your head, buddy...

My BBFK: Well you *do* know I'm the Brit version of a renowned Azzuri ;)

Conjugal visits huh? Ya just know how to humour me don't ya? Oh, and I expect *cake* too... *wink, wink*

Keeefer: LOL, Russian roulette with an automatic pistol always works, as long as *they* go first... ;)

Rebekah: Bingo - Ah, headless mouse for birthday huh? Nice :) Which one's George again?

I once killed a mouse by accident too... we'll have to swap stories OK?

K: LOL another spot on! It was my cats... usually the girl, she's the canny one, the boy just takes them off her and plays with them... but at least they didn't get deposited in the house...

Jay: LOL, what, going home to find a mouse's head in your bed? LOL Typical Brit mafia thing that... rodent's skulls on your pillow... ooh scary ;)

Sounds like a heavy night, a general rule for me is if I'm enjoying myself I'll have to face the consequences the day after ...

N' whats with the tagging, some technorati stuff?

Piniyini: LOL, it wasn't as dramatic as that really, just a little poetic licence ;)

Nice thing to wake up to, though... dead mice on the doorstep...

Piniyini: And yeah, it was technorati tags... just the way I implemented them killed off the blogger comments... hmm, back to the drawing board... I was trying to automate them using blogger tags but may have to do them manually... hmmm *scratches chin*

Rebekah: Ah, OK... I did wander why we've only seen Nugget of late... :)

Ah, an oven? Nope, LOL, but staying on the kitchen theme does yours involve a colander?
