"We got a Bleeder"

And Momma used to say "don't you stay out late"...

Bloody ArmTry telling that to Jim! What his momma shoulda said was...
"don't go out on your bike on a pitch black Thursday night with Lever and his buddies, watch where you're going and don't forget to unclip your shoes from the pedals. And don't, under any circumstances, go crashing into concrete gullies filled with brambles!"
But then you try saying that to a hard-as-nails ex Royal Marine!

He was OK, a decent aprés-ride pint o' beer dulled a lot of the pain.

That reminds me; I really must get some decent lights for my bike now that Autumn's here...Whatever happened to the old floodlights from Wembley stadium?

Superfan: Yeah, he was a bit shaken by it. Lots of blood and probably needs stitches too. I didn't chat to Jim today but might catch up with him tomorrow and see if he's OK :)

I was worried until I saw the bike pants. If that's the price of fun, then so be it! We've all been there, another "trophy" scored!

Sarah: Hey Sarah, how you doing? Welcome aboard :)

LOL, yeah that's exactly right; it's just that Jim has rather a lot of "trophies" ;) I gave up being totally stupid on bikes when I chipped my shin and knee on the BMX last year. Didn't recover from that "minor" injury for months! But yeah, it's the price we all pay :)

Anyone here got any trophies of their own? I know BBFK has a couple, I just don't know the rest of you so initimately LOL

Piniyini: Yeah, I think there was more blood than the wound gives credit for. He's OK today though :)

And you're not put off riding after all that? Good on ya dude. It's great fun, even when you take a tumble :D

My BBFK: LMAO I've *always* got you covered my dear :*

Take care of them? Babe, your boy is the baby of the group - *he* is the youngest LOL

And I'm glad you like our remedies, you got any ailments you need curing girl? *wink*

Rebekah: Blogger can be a bitch sometimes, I know.

LMAO I shall pass that on to Jim and see what he says. I'm sure he'd be happy with SpongeBob plasters, and even more so if they glowed in the dark - we might be able to see him in the dark before he falls into another ditch next time ;)

Vicious Summer: LOL, I remember seeing that pic :) Didn't you fall off your bike too? Cooler than mine of course, 'cos it was pink right?

Anyway, I got news for you Summer - You and Jim are twins, and with me now we're triplets :D Oh, wait... I haven't told that story yet...

I didn't fall off my pink beach cruiser (can you even fall off of a beach cruiser?!). My wonderful wound came from a bad day of snowboarding. Ice burn (which is just like road rash, but colder...) twice in the same spot. OUCH!

Vicious Summer: Ah, OK, my mistake LOL So what's ice burn - is that a bad landing on water or what? I know nothing about surfing :S

Snowboarding, not surfing, silly. In Southern California we don't have the luxury of soft fluffy snow. It's all ice and it will do you up exactly like if you took a header off your bike ;).

Vicious Summer: Oops! Oh yeah, silly me LOL. I forget you have snow too :) I must snowboard some day, I'd be better at falling off than on the water ;)
