I wish I was there because:
a.) I would be near you
b.) I would be closer to sleeping off my hangover which has managed to haunt me all day
c.) I wouldn't be at work, faking being useful
d.) You could cook me a greasy fry-up which you are convinced will cure my hangover. I would empirically show you that you're wrong by consuming and then puking your lovely food. (Hopefully, I'll be the one that's wrong. For once.) ;)

My BBFK: LOL come on everybody... Aaaaahhh.
My girl's still feeling grotty huh? C'mere darling, I got a beer for ya, the hair o' the dog'll sort you out ;)
[Avoid Hangovers - Stay Drunk!!!]
Babe, you'd love it... the moon out (full yesterday), the rush hour traffic, the freezing cold and a nice warm... er... house just 5 minutes walk away. Trust me, it was bloody freezing when I took that shot *brrr*
I dunno about a fry-up right now, but I'd definitely take you down the Cove Tandoori for a couple o' pints and a Chicken Jalfrezzi ;) How about it? :D

Mmmmmm....OK. Only, will the chicken dish make me fart? I can't handle that right now.
Oh, and what was that bit about the dog hair? Wait, forget I asked. It sounds like it could be gross.

Good photo mate.
BBFK, it is actually scientificly proven that a fry up helps cure a hangover.

My BBFK: Erm. well you could have a lamb Jalfrezzi if you think it'd make you NOT fart... anyways, I don't think *I* could handle that right now LOL
"The hair of the dog that bit you" is the theory that a little of what made you bad last night will help you out today, much in the same way that snakebite serum is made from snake venom :)
What time you coming home sweetie? :D
Keeefer: Thx dude :) Not bad for a quick snap on the way back from the post office.
Yep, fry-up. Should have had one this morning when I said so... Regarding fry-ups here's a a little bit of advice...
"...bacon, sausages and the works *may* cause indigestion. However, fat contains lots of calories, so you will get a much-needed energy boost, and eggs and meat are rich in the amino acid, cysteine, which is thought to be good at clearing out toxins."
(source: BBC "Hangover Cures" page, complete with photo of 'Patsy' LOL)
So there you have it - fried eggs, sausage, bacon & black pudding - I'm feeling hungry meself now :)

If by "black pudding" you mean something made of blood, well then I'd just as soon never drink again in order to avoid the hangover that I would have to cure with that disgusting mix...

Ah-ha, so you have to cross _that_ bridge do you. Thinks Lever must be on the north side of town ;-)
As I've just got home from another stupidly long day at work, I've just gone underneath that bridge.
Its allegedly -4 to -5 deg C out there, according to my car. However I wouldn't take the car as accurate....!

Kat E: Yep, you're spot on there and BBFK's had black pudding for breakfast too. But then that's why I stopped eating hot dogs - all that connective tissue and mechanically recovered chicken...
S'OK, you can have a ton of toast and fried or scrambled egg - that'll sort out any hangovers you may have :) You're not vegetarian BTW are you? I'd go veggie ASAP if I could at least find something that tastes as good as bacon.... wait, we've had this before on here...
Red: Absolutely, Red, well spotted :) I drove over the bridge on my way back from the Alexandra Rd Sorting Office (late pickup/delivery time there) and saw the moon over the M3. I got home, parked up and couldn't resist a quick stroll back to the bridge with my tripod and A350. Must get my S7000 fixed sometime. Anyways...
Yep, it's that strange part of Farnborough that's supposed to be Cove, but is more like Hawley, so close to Minley and yet is often marked as Fox Lane on some maps (esp. Google where Cove doen't even figure as part of Farnborough)
And -4° to -5°? Well the weather report did say -2° or -3° and do you remember we were coldest place in England on a day last year/ early this year when it was -7° !!

God If I had a pund for every time I'd gone under that bridge I'd be able to stop and bye yer a pint or ten, or.....
Great pic, I think someone said that the moon today is at one of its closest points to the Earth, hence its size and intensity.

Brom-man: Brom, I'm 5 minutes walk/ a minute's drive from the top of that bridge and there's a decent couple of pubs just off junction 4a, which is only a short stroll away from here :) Next time you're over this way do give me a shout :)
That proximity of the moon was what originally caught my eye; about 45 mins before I took this it was looking like it was just over the rooftops, but I was on a mission and couldn't stop ;)
LMAO and that PUND would have been OK had you been Irish, a Scot or a Geordie LOL ;)

RYC: Into the land of the dead eh? I'd avoid most of the original LPs, but start off with American Beauty and Workinmans Dead. For a real taste, try some of the Dicks Picks albums.

I like this photo.
It's all about life and light and movement, contrasted with unchangeability.
The light from the sun is rushing towards you from behind the earth, so it's not directly visible...yet at the same time, it reflects off the face of the moon, and rushes towards you from the opposite direction...it is the movement of nature.
...and the light from the cars rushes towards you even though the cars are travelling away from you...this represents the movement of mankind.
The only thing that remains static and constant is the eternal row of tiny orange workmans cones.
NO SURPRISE THERE THEN.

Dr. Sky: LMAO Fantastic. And when they've finished "fixing" this bit of the M3, they'll go and "fix" somewhere else and then come back later and "help" us out by doing some more "work" here and making this bit of the M3 "better" by doing whatever the hell it is they do...
A few years back they turned the 2-lane A325 in Farnborough into 1 bus lane, 1 lane for cars... we hardly ever see any buses so we all got a bit pissed off, especially when the road surface had to be re-laid after it was found it was about as durable as a layer of farmhouse cheddar, AND they created a huge bottleneck off the M3... needless to say there are planned roadworks to remove part of the bus lane... what a complete waste of time that was. Oh well, at least the company that prodcues road-cones, which I swear all councils or councillors have a stake in, are in line for some more easy money... LOL
Rebekah: YOU are very bad, young lady... I'm on drugs too (mulled wine) but I think you should behave *waves finger and gets all commanding* I hope you're doing OK...
