Beer
Does anybody out there know of anywhere in the world where there is a village, town or place called Beer other than in the county of Devon in dear olde England?

wow, i don't recall ever seeing such a bright sunny day as this when i lived in the UK. of course then, i was in scotland... ; )

Narthex: Whereabouts in Scotland, dude? I was born in Aberdeen, lived in Peterhead but have never been back since.

oh wow, i lived in dundee! took me forever to figure out they were speaking english to me! i stopped in aberdeen once. all i remember was that it was late and very cold (january).
anyway, after about three months i was told i had started picking up the accent and when i got back to southern california my friends told me my american english was all f*cked up!
