Heatwave
Well, for those of you outside of our United Kingdom, there's a heatwave going on here right now. Apparently today is the hottest July day since records began which was 1911.Today's temperature, recorded in Charlwood, near Gatwick, is 36.3°C (97°F) but could get higher by the end of the day.
That's nice. I know it's not exactly scientific or laboratory conditions, but my cheapo thermometer says it's 116°F (47°C) in my back yard !!!

Canbush: LOL I think you could be right there :) I thought my laptop was a demon at 103°F but this is just silly... and sweaty.

Oh common honey....did you just pull that out of your bumhole? How can it be THAT hot? OK, I believe you...but maybe you could work on cooling things off before we raid your world. I've been telling my girl that it's cooler in England... ;) :P

My BBFK: My god!!! You're SO rude!!! What ARE you ON today??? *feigns look of abject consternation* LOL
England IS cooler... we don't all drive pick-up trucks, don't drink PBR, don't need to have shoe-sizes, buildings and cars that are always one bigger than everyone else... you KNOW we're cool... ;) :p

Is it sitting on pavement there? That may be why.
Tomorrow we are forecast (with heat index from humidity) 110 degrees. Try that...
No, didn't miss an announcement I'm just very hit and miss with the content on my blog :D

RahX: I said it was very unscientific ;) Yeah, the concrete driveway was almost unbearable on my bare feet, so 116F is a little distorted but still true for that corner of the yard ;)
But 110... :o Nah, you can keep that, dude, you're in Florida now, right? I've heard it's well sweaty down there...

oh lever, as cool as bbfk is you still have to remember that she is american! but she's as cool as they come.
as for your temperature, you obviously haven't been to the mojave desert. i grew up there for some years. try riding your bike in 120ºF. now that is heat buddy.
the u.k. is cool though. as i remember, the warmest day i had in scotland was a balmy 48ºF. everybody was out on the lawn as if it was a heat wave. wayyy too many chalky whites, mate! though the girls were cute...

Narthex: LOL yeah, but she's definitely on some sorta high today though ;)
120°F sounds like a killer - But the thought of biking the Mojave sounds good despite the heat... I'm definitely a Golodilocks temperate clime European... not too cold, not too hot :)
LMAO the Scots are the palest of us islanders for sure, the south of England is perfect, though the cutest girls down here come from the U.S. ;)

Our online paths have converged once or twice over the last 5-6 years... or is it longer than that? I dunno *shrugs*
Whatever happened to FrankJordan.com?

ah,
interesting.
frank jordan has from my knowledge just not been playing anymore.
i had to give up the site, as i was not the owner of the .com, only the content (originally a fansite) and it was given to the indie label to redesign it. the guy who did their last cd redesigned it and it was nice, but has since been dropped and no longer valid.
a goddamn fucking shame if you ask me.
i found you because i seen i was linked from here on my stats and i was like ?WTF ?W > ! lol
