Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
July 21st, 2007
She now knows I have my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. At least us Brits get some things before them damn Yankees
I told her the queue outside Tesco, The Meadows, in Camberley was big… it surprised me too; there must have a hundred plus people waiting there when I turned up at ten minutes to midnight.
Becky had offered that when her copy turns up on our doorstep tomorrow morning I can read it… but I couldn’t resist being part of the bundle for the last book in the Harry Potter… er… septology?
Right, I’m off to finish a bit more of it now; I told here that at the foot of page 35 it says;
“Back in his bedroom, Harry fiddled aimlessly with his”
But she didn’t want to know in case I spoiled the plot…

Deathly Hallows – I thought this was his Deathly Goodbye’s. A good buy for old JK though.
Brom: I think you could be right…
JK’s a multi-millionaire and good on her. Though I’m 130 pages in and frustrated that it’s only just getting going… I’m no speed reader so I understand why films are good for the sanity…
well, erm, i just wanted to say, entirely OFF topic that the butchers by my work sells chicken lever. is that something to do with you?
So I was supposed to pick up that book for my kids today, was I. Oh well. Getting what you want too easily is bad for the soul.
Jemima: *snort* Chicken lever paté? LOL Nah, not me mate. I’m an instrument for tipping the balance…
As for getting what you want too easily, I think some things need to be worked for and others that are unobtainable may be so for a reason. A beer or a glass of wine tonight is what needs to be earned.
So, didja finish it yet? I spent most of the weekend spare moments on it, and now I am done.
Mummy/Crit: Crikey mate, you done well
I’m not far off finishing it now, less than a hundred pages… I had to help my neighbour start his car so I lost some valuable reading time but now I’m gonna have a cuppa and go read in the sunshine…
:: hyperventilates :: i haven’t got mine from amazon yet!!!! can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait can’t wait … especially with a teaser like pg 35 there … dont post things like that … i already like ol’ harry too much anyhow … sheesh …
Rebekah: Well I hope your copy turns up tomorrow, you gotta read it; fast for 130 pages and then the story starts. Well, that’s what I thought, but I prefer action to teenage twittering
Oh, and your copy has more pages, so Becky said last night, so I dunno if your page 35 is the same…
I’ve not seen the Goblet of Fire yet, but did buy the domain HPDH.info.
BulbBoy: Good job grabbing that Harry Potter Deathly Hallows domain… looks like you’ve done a ton of work populating it already
*huge grin*
Ahhhh…Harry Potter. I was so happy to get my fix. What a nice job, JK.
And our books look very different, BTW. I’ll bring one by soon to show ya.
My BBFK: Likewise babe, she did do a good job.
Different fronts aye? What’ve you got under the covers, sweetie, I want you to show me…
:p
Re:..populating it..
What can I say? My brain in its present condition is finding it difficult to take in new things very well.
Hopefully by the time the HPDH movie comes out I will have done something with it.
BulbBoy: Now that’s forward thinking Batman
